Essential Functions

  • Utilizing the practice phone system for incoming/outgoing calls.

  • Scheduling/rescheduling client appointments working within the practice electronic medical record.

  • Performing intakes on new clients and using judgment to match with the therapist.

  • Assist with practice marketing, including but not limited to: 

    • Social media posting

    • Practice Newsletter

    • Researching for blog articles 

  • Utilizing practice email for client and staff correspondence.   

  • Other administrative duties as assigned by the client.

 

Qualifications

  • The ability to empathize with people going through a tough time.

  • The ability to build rapport quickly, but also to maintain professional boundaries.

  • Minimum of High School diploma, some college preferred.

  • Previous experience in the medical and/or mental health field in an outpatient setting is required.

  • Call center experience is a plus.  

  • Minimum of two years experience in an administrative role.

  • High-speed internet access.

  • Quiet, designated home office space.

  • Midrange PC or MAC with current virus software.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and/or Google Docs.

  • Knowledge of smartphone applications.

  • Able to work 5 to 7 hours at a time with limited interruptions
